Netflix's Filipino Zombie Film Outside Exclusive Screening and Dialogue

I had another amazing event experience yesterday at Grand Hyatt Hotel for the exclusive screening and Dialogue for @netflixph first zombie feature film, Outside 🧟‍♂️

I was so hyped for this movie when the trailer came out and I can confidently say that this lived up to my expectations and even went above and beyond. To those who knew me na alam na di ako fan ng horror (as a matatakutin girlie), it’s not the typical horror na jumpscare lang ang ganap. Mas matatakot ka sa psychological aspect ng film (lalo if may mga anak kayo). Konting chika lang, before pa ito irelease, we anticipated from the trailer na hindi dead ones (the zombies) yung main concern nila dito and we were right 👏 Trigger warning pala since may mga brutal scenes sa movie and all out sila with those. I also love how they utilized symbolism here and hearing the director himself that they purposefully included those to show the message that they want to relay sa viewers.

Interesting trivia pala from Direk: The story was originally set in Australia pero they transposed it to PH setting hence the outcome. Once mapanood mo yung movie, we can agree naman that the generational trauma here is more relevant sa Asian families kaya mas bumagay yung story.
